Our Training team offer a range of PWay courses required to work on Network Rail infrastructure. Whatever your track speciality, the courses for competences you need to attain and retain are here.
Tr 00 (Track Induction) (Initial)
This course is mandatory for all staff new to track engineering, with its purpose to give delegates a basic understanding of the principles of track engineering. This includes Permanent Way construction, components and work methods to enable them to work safely and efficiently. The course also includes Personal Track Safety and DCCR (see the Personal Track Safety and DCR Course Specifications for details of this course).
AOD LXA (Level Crossing Attendant) (Initial / Recert)
This is designed to train persons who are responsible for undertaking these duties on the Network Rail infrastructure and to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to the requirements of the LXA role.
AOD HS (Hand Signaller) (Initial / Recert)
This is designed to train persons who are responsible for undertaking these duties on the Network Rail infrastructure and to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to the requirements of the HS role.
AOD PO (Points Operator) (Initial / Recert)
This is designed to train persons who are responsible for undertaking these duties on the Network Rail infrastructure and to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to the requirements of the PO role.
