Track Operative

The training will be based in our Colchester office, and is generally between the hours of 0900 - 1630.

Please note that you will be required to complete the E-Learning before starting with us. This will be sent out to you ahead of time for completion

Training Details

Day 1 & 2‍ ‍Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 June 2026

MH (Manual Handling / FA (Fire Awareness / EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work)

Day 3 Wednesday 24 June + 25 June 2026 with DCCR on 26 June 2026

PTS (Personal Track Safety) Initial Training

  • Classroom and site-based training event following successful completion of PTS E-Learning.

  • Full issued PPE will be required as elements of the course are delivered on the Operational Railway.

Day 4 to 8 Monday 29 June - 3 July 2026 (Monday to Friday attendance)

TIC (Track Induction Certificate)

Day 9 to 10‍ ‍Tuesday 7 July 2026 - 9 July 2026 (all days to be attended)
