PWAY Team Steps Up

Over the past few months, the PWAY team has seen a steady increase in workload, rising to the challenge across multiple sites and projects. Their dedication has been evident as they supported valued clients and completed significant works at locations including Bealings, Bottisham, Ripple Lane, Kensal Rise, and many others.

From core renewals and re-rails to ballast work and setting up SAC, the team has consistently demonstrated strong effort and professionalism. Notably, several PWAY members extended their commitment beyond the railway, volunteering alongside Colas Rail at Cedar High School. Their contributions helped transform the school’s accessibility by widening walkways, installing LED lighting, strengthening the roof, and more. The team’s community spirit didn’t stop there. Volunteers also lent a hand at Barrows Farm Riding School for the Disabled, where they cleaned drains, rebuilt fences, and even took on some painting projects—making a tangible difference for local residents. Looking ahead, the coming months promise to be challenging as colder weather sets in and work schedules intensify. With increased demand and longer hours, staff are encouraged to stay at their best, with opportunities for overtime ahead of the Christmas season. The team is also expanding.

Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to contact Carley Anderson, as recruitment is ongoing. Management extends sincere thanks to all staff for their hard work and dedication—your efforts do not go unnoticed.
